Today is one of the hottest days in Cumbria this year and I happen to have a lot of ripe bananas in my fruit bowl. So what better day than today to give making Banana ice-cream a go.

- Chop up 4 ripe bananas or however many you have and place in freezer for at least 1 hour.
- Put frozen banana chunks into food processor/blender with 1 tablespoon of milk. (add more if needed – however don’t add much more otherwise you might end up with a banana milkshake.)
- I popped mine back into the freezer, perhaps I went a bit milk crazy. Half an hour later it was ready to serve.
Add chocolate sauce on top! Delicious!
